I got this TASCAM tape thing that can record in stereo. I was definitely going to bounce some beats on there and see how they sound.

Anyone got any requests? If not I'll just throw the jams on there that I'm curious about.

Im working with a guitarist now that swears by them

Guitar with the 4-track is fun. Easy to be spontaneous.

It would be cool if I could lay down a bunch of tracks, and then grab them individually, but every time you hit the play button on the tape, it plays the tape sliiiiightly differently. At a sliiiiiightly different speed. Audio sync drift. The tempo fluctuates a bit. You'd have to chop it up to sync everything back up.

I suppose if I had one of those pimped out tape recorders with 4 separate output jacks, and one of those pimped out soundcards with 4 separate inputs, then I could play all 4 tracks at the same time and it would work.

But yeah. For throwing together a sketch, to see if a riff works, I definitely see the appeal of using these things.
