[A Great Night - Cackle Ja]

You know... for a joke song, this is mixed and mastered particularly well. And it's catchy. The only thing that bugged me was when the auto-tune couldn't make up its mind what note to snap your voice to, so it would toggle back and forth between a couple notes (bah-uh-AH-uh-eeh-ah). They're decent melodies, man - worth showcasing. Other than that, though - excellent work. (and the lyrics cracked me up)

You know what? I was really trying to get jiggy to this. The only problem was, the drums were REALLY compressed. They kind of sounded like someone sloshing through a puddle. Everything else sounds really great though - I like the synths. Everything's very catchy. I think if you fixed up the drums, the whole thing would sound lovely.

This is cool - this reminds me of the part in a movie where the villain's going around killing everyone, but there's no sound effects, just a creepy song playing in the background. Now that your voice is back to normal (I assume - this track was submitted a while ago, right?) it might be cool to go back over it with some vocal harmonies or something.

I don't think i'll go back to this again though (even though my voice is indeed back to normal), because there are just fragments of songs and the timing is off sometimes because of that. Nice idea though :)

...Sounds finished to me. I'd only fix the intro - a tad long, I'm talking about the part where the squirrels are praying. After that, sounds good, dude.

I love the intro. I think it needs more instruments, because you only have a squelchy bass and some drums, and when you want to drop something out to make the beat more interesting, you don't have too many places to turn. Also, drums by themselves tend to be quite boring, no matter how cool the rhythm (yes, you do have a nifty rhythm) At around 3:33, you brought in this bass which really should've been around earlier. It would've been cool if you toyed with that a little bit.

I have to disagree with the other guy. I like the low-fi quality of it, especially the way the voice sounds, and the constant squeaking and groaning of the guitars. The solo was dope, too.

Cool.

I really like the drums. Normally, people use squishy drums, but you use nice, crunchy drums. Some of the synths are a bit too loud, though. Otherwise, it's nice. I like.

I like everything, except the drums. They could use some more oomph, you know? But the mood's great - sounds kinda like Radiohead a little bit. I like.

Uohmm.

I must say, I am liking this. The beat sounds excellent. The one thing I would change is that junky bouncy chord synth I heard in the beginning. The melody is great, but something smoother would fir the beat better. Everything else is really, I mean, really f-in' good. Keep up the good work!
