Man I love that dusty shit, dude. Drums got that crackle to them.
The mix could probably use just a smidge more EQ -- I heard some rumbly stuff down in the low end. But other than that, the track is dope. I really dig it.

thanks dude, yea this was off of a cassette tape, so the eq is kinda stuck. I can eq it more but it would be the whole track, I cant adjust only the vocs or the beats. but thank you man I like this track too.
thanks

So chill. Are those chords vibraphones or keyboards? They sound cool. I was hoping for one of those Bouille basslines to come in, but I didn't really hear much in the way of that. There might've been a bassline, but it was mad faint.
1:08 sounds real nice. The guitar was dope.
No bassline this time, Star. Nuffin but skeleton. I think they're keyboards. This another Moonchild joint
The way you did the hook was cool -- nice chopping. I like the snare.
The rapping's pretty good. I dig it.
I really dig this. Getting huge Tame Impala vibes from this. I kinda wish the vocals were a bit louder.
The guitar interplay you got going on here is awesome. How guitars are going on here? Like 4? 5? I counted a bass, two acoustics strumming, and a shit ton of riffs, so I really have no idea. They all got great tone.
Those drums are mad crunchy. I love the part at 0:29 where the beat goes silent right before it comes back in harder. Keys sound dope, mad jazzy. The bassline is dope. Cool thing at 1:11. Wasn't sure if it was a quiet saxophone or a synth or what.
I dig it!
Thanks for coming through Phos X)
The thing at 1:11 is actually the sample hint lol. I always like to drop at least one!
I dig it, man. It's got a real SAW 85-92 to it, with the drums and chill synths and everything. The vocals sound really cool, too.
Thanks man, glad you liked it!
Beyond dope. I love the instrumentation. I dig how intimate the whole recording sounds. The vocals and harmonies sound really tight and in sync. I just wish the part right before the bridge let the chord ring out a bit more -- the part where all the instruments drop out except that guitar riff.
Otherwise, this shit is awesome.
That reverse guitar solo was badass, too. How'd you do that? Did you play the track backwards and record yourself playing guitar forwards with it, or did you take a bunch of notes and chop them up?
Cool sounds here, man. It's got a sorta DJ Mix/medley vibe going on. I like the transitions.
For those curious:
0:00 - 0:20, Bernzomad
0:20 - 0:39, Quetiapine
0:40 - end, Saikai
ha ha shot bro. all you.
THE DREAM IS REAL -- REVERRRRB!!! FINALLY!!! haha, all joking aside, I'm digging this.
But it feels like you put reverb on everything -- even the kick? Am I going cuckoo? The kick's got reverb? Or maybe it's some sidechain thing. I have no idea.
0:33 is so tight tho. UNNNNNGHHHH
lol reverb... he's a rival of mine that i'm finally ceding to xD
The kick doesn't have a reverb funnily enough. It's probably the sidechaining.
my personal favourite is probably 1:06 now that I think of it. i should probably make a song around that. or 1:38.
but thanks for listening you're the man
