This was definitely my favorite track from the game. I dig the melody. It's really cool how you kept the music really consistent throughout the game. Nice work.

houzatosis responds:

I think this was everybody's favorite on my team ^^ Thank you.

Cool, I like it. It sounds like the soundtrack to a tongue-in-cheek Amnesia, if such a thing's possible. I like how the bassline sounds like someone burping. The drums are cool, too. I really like the drone playing throughout the track. Nice work.

houzatosis responds:

For some reason, I thought of Katz's theme from Courage the Cowardly Dog while I was brainstorming ideas for this track, and the cr-78's distinct sound seemed perfect.

Real nice. I was listening with headphones and I think the bassline is a little louder than it should be, but otherwise, sick beat. Love the dusty drums.

You have mad chops on the guitar. This sounds so so so nice. GAAWD. Bummer there wasn't much of a chord progression. Whatever, it's funky as hell. Percussion's bloody sexy. UGGH.

Totally reminds me of Vinroc. Real nice. Bassline's dope. I liked when you put the filter on the guitar sample and modulated it throughout the track. It separated the verse from the chorus section, and it sounded like the beat was going through a tunnel or something. Drums sound great. Real nice.

Totally sounds like Gershwin. Real nice. What job did you get exactly?

Cebster responds:

hmm have to check that out. Ok so its not actually the industry haha in fact nothing to crazy. I got a gig scoring youtube videos for a company.... It's a start up company so I won't even be getting paid yet. haha.

This totally reminds me of Blur's album Parklife, which is funny because Blur's from England and you're from southern USA? Well anyway, catchy song. Percussion's real bouncy. Lots of layering of synths. Cool shit!

Poniiboi responds:

You dug deep! LOL no one comments on this song.

What the guitar's doing is pretty nice. I really did not dig the bells. I think there are better instruments out there to complement the guitar. The vibraphone didn't quite fit either, but it didn't stick out as bizarrely as the bell. Also, the looping is off because the various instruments are still reverberating at the end, but at the beginning of the loop they never played yet. So there's this abrupt switch. It could definitely use some tweaking. Interesting work, though.

dangoval95 responds:

Thanks for the review man!
I downloaded the free trial for sibelius so it gave me crappy instrument sounds, but I do need to fix the loop at the end to make it flow like you said. Thanks for the feedback :)

I love the part at 1:46 when everything clears out and you just hear the 007-style guitar, the bassline and the drums. The occasional reversed bass note was dope. It sounds really cool there. The intro was really cool, with the reversed piano notes competing with the normal notes. Really interesting textures and sounds. Rapping was good, too.

RRStudios responds:

Instrumental was produced by Team-Dix (Rama). The rapping was done by dacookup (Shef Cook).

Thanks for the review, no vote here.

I notice you make mostly dubstep, which isn't exactly my cup of tea, but I'd love to hear more stuff like this. Cool sounds. I like how the drums don't try to overpower the mix. The vocals sound really distant and detached. The guitar has this weird flanger on it that reminds me of No Quarter. Really cool stuff going on here.

IIPhase responds:

I make all kinds of stuff but i am into dub at the moment not saying forever.

I do music because I'm bored.
